What comes with every rental
The boat is fueled, checked and waiting at the dock when you arrive. Bring a cooler and a driver’s license, we take care of the rest.
Four steps to a day on the river
-
1
Pick your boat and date
Center console or pontoon, half day or full day. Weekends go first once the season starts, so book early.
-
2
Send the reservation
Fill in the form or call the dock. We confirm the slot and take a card to hold it, nothing is charged yet.
-
3
Meet us at the dock
Arrive fifteen minutes early with a driver's license. A crew member runs the briefing and gets you off the dock.
-
4
Bring it back fueled
Top the tank on the way in and hand the keys over. The hold on your card is released the same day.
Hold your date
Tell us the boat, the date and how many people are coming. The dock crew comes back with availability and takes payment by phone.
Half day or full day
Half days run 9 AM to 1 PM or 1 PM to 5 PM. Full days run 9 AM to 5 PM.
Rental request
We confirm by phone before anything is charged.
Before you book the boat
In Florida anyone born after January 1 1988 needs a boating safety education card. The online course is free and takes about three hours. Do it before you arrive and bring the card with you.
Twenty one with a valid driver’s license to sign for the boat, and twenty one to drive it. Anyone else taking the wheel has to be named on the paperwork before you leave the dock.
No. The boat leaves with a full tank and comes back full, or we refill it and charge for what it took. There is nothing else added on top of the rate.
Call the dock by 8:15 on the morning of your rental and we move it or refund it. Florida afternoon storms usually blow through, so most days we can just shift you later.
We place a card authorization as a damage deposit and release it the day the boat comes back. Most banks free the funds within three to five business days.
On the pontoon, yes, leashed while you are on the dock. The center console is a no. An extra cleaning charge applies if the boat comes back in a state.
Weekends book out first
Call the dock or send a request and we will tell you what is still free this weekend.
